These were to be my sit and wait project….between kids and elderly inlaws, I have odd moments here/there that a project like this is nice to have to grab and go, or just keep in the car. However, these just flew off the needles…..perhaps, knitting stripes in yummy yarn makes me knit faster? ;)

Pattern - it had been so long since I had made toe-up socks with ab after-thought heel, so this was a perfect memory jogger. Pattern is well-written, with photo tutorials. Thank you, Carle, for writing it up, and offeringbit for free. (So generous!)

Yarn - I picked this up at DFW fiberfest last spring, and am so glad I did. Love (and already bought more of Karen’s striping yarn). Knits up wonderfully, and washed up great, with no dye in the water. Colors are amazing.

Nts - total length -9-1/4”; from toe to start of gusset -7-1/4”
Inc to 68, should have been 64, or 60
