My legs below the knees are shorter than the average person’s, so 18” legwarmers are going to be more like pants than legwarmers. I measured John’s perfectly average-length legs to see what 18” looked like and it turns out to be 2” of slouch from ankle to knee, so I am going to give myself 2” of slouch. The length should be something like 15”.

I adore this yarn but for two things: it took 8 weeks to get it and it turns my fingers slightly pink. I think both might be attributable to the super rich purple color, which is gorgeous all knit up! (first pic most accurate)
