Notes

Just can’t resist making another Opal scarf to “replace” the one that got lost (even though it wasn’t mine!). After CO and knitting half a dozen reps of Bias, I decided the stitches didn’t look nice (on US 4=3.5mm OR US 6=4.0 mm) and will try Azzu instead. With Sport-weight yarn.

This skein is fairly uniform in medium/light burnt orange, with an occasional long stretch of cream followed by taupe (?). Interesting how it pools - that keeps me going!

The fabric is a bit scratchy, but this will be worn for color rather than actually around the neck - similar to my first Azzu, in Opal-Continents-Antarctika (4-fache), which DD#2 wears permanently knotted and double-looped.

Now that I’m 40% into the skein (and I may not need all of it), I can see that the reverse-stockinette side shows off the color variations best (like little pebbles), so I may complete the project and wear it for color more than its shape.
