i bought the yarn for this before i read the reviews about the sizing on this pattern. why can’t pattern makers just show the correct size on the model in the first place?

hoping i had enough i lengthened the body to 22cm and the sleeves to 37cm. for the rest i followed the pattern. i wish i had sized it up all round as it only just fits my 11 year old and is a bit tight under the arms. meh! i will be wary of free patterns in future.

it did knit up fast, and the yarn is lovely. the garter stitch bands needed blocking and still curl a bit. i might add grosgrain under the bands if she still fits the cardi in a month or two! i bought 3 balls and had 36grams left at the end.
