Notes

Bottom & top edge on size 7 needles. Body on size 8.

The picture of the multicolor afghan is from the magazine.

I did the first panel from the magazine pattern. But I got tired of that one.

The second panel is from Creative Knitting, September 2009. I used the Cable Rib pattern from the Lap of Luxury Duo on pg. 49. I co 40 sts and did 4 sts in garter on each edge.

The third & fourth panels are Zurich Scarf. Then I plan to make 3 narrow panels in either seed or stockinette to put between the other 4. 2/24/2011-finished 2nd Zurich panel. Out of yarn. Yikes. guess the panels to connect will be a different color. I am some of the same yarn in Burgundy.

3/19/2011-I bought some sage green yarn to make the connecting panels. I’m going to use the center section of the Zurich scarf panel for the 3 connecting panels. Then a border using the same yarn. This is the never ending afghan!

8/3/11-Only did one green panel in the Zurich motif. The other two will be (one is complete) a version of Vicki’s Happy Honeycomb pattern. Next gotta find a border.

Edging is

1 row sc, 2 rows herringbone dc, 1 row reverse sc.
