-Final thoughts: I am not pleased that I have three completely untouched skeins of this pricey yarn left over. I wish I had seen that others had noted the wildly overestimated yardage requirements. In general, though, I am super duper pleased! It fits really well after blocking (was a bit snug at first) and will fit even better when I’m done nursing, I hope. This is definitely one of my most successful sweater projects ever!

-June 10th: Put this aside for Ishbel since it’s a gift.
-June 29th: It’s back to work I go. Yay!

Mods:
-I’m using the smaller needles for the garter stitch edging because I want to put buttons all the way down and don’t want the flare.
-Added 1 inch below ribbing and 1.5 above.
-Only did 2 inches of garter stitch at cuffs and again used smaller needles.
-Working buttonholes every 12th row all the way down the front.
-I hate working garter stitch in the round so I knit the cuffs flat and sewed them up later.
-I screwed up the instructions at the waist ribbing and ended up throwing in some extra shaping accidentally. My ribbing looks a bit weird there but I don’t think it’s very noticeable.
-To make the neck a bit narrower I knit for an extra inch after joining in the round, then I bound off four less stitches at the neck edge and did an extra row of decreases at the raglan shaping.
-I hand sewed some grosgrain ribbon to the back of the button band to help with droopiness and folding in issues.
