Such a satisfying wee project. And such a happy knit. The heft and bounce of this wool made me BEAM, and the lace leaves are simple and effective. Minimum effort, maximum effect!

It’s a quick gift for a colleague so I reckon the stroller size will be just dandy. Plus it gives me an opportunity to use this lovely woollen spun yarn. It’s Aran-weight so I’m using a single strand. Two and a half repeats in and it’s knitting up BEAUTIFULLY.

NB: Ended up with a rectangular blanket… just. Cast on the specified number of stitches and worked one extra lace repeat 6.5 total): partly to finish up my second skein, but also cos otherwise it risked ending up a wonky square.
