1-11-09: I received the yarn in the mail today, after a slight snafu regarding my original color (the eggplant was on backorder, and would take at least three weeks to arrive because it had to be manufactured). I cast on for the neckband because I was so anxious to see the cable and it is already wonderful. I can’t wait to knit more. Too bad I had to come back and work a little more today!

3-18-10: I’ve just gotten a 47-inch cable needle, which is really helping. The other needle was 30-something inches and the stitches were really crowded. I’m about 86 rows in to the fun. Out of 170. Will I complete this by month’s end? Time will tell.

3-20-10: So the stitches are already starting to get a little crowded on the new circ, though there’s plenty of room when I scrunch them. I just can’t spread it out all the way on the needle is all. I’ve plowed through (I think) 8 rows this afternoon and need a break. 110 of 170! The end is certainly in sight!
