I know the colors are different in all the photos. Sorry! It’s a tough one to get right.

Just swatching some yarns to test out an idea and find a good needle size. US 8 needle with Cascade Ecological is 4 sts per inch. According to the pattern (in Opinionated Knitter) I’m knitting the 27” child’s size. Should be perfect for Maggie for a couple of years!

Mod #1: Pockets are 18 sts wide.
Mod #2: Will add a few more ridges to the body for extra length. I’ve settled on 8 extra ridges. Added the pockets at 22 ridges.
Mod #3: The collar is 10 ridges.
Mod #4: Decreased sleeves to 32 sts.
Mod #5: I-cord edging around edge, with loopy at the back of neck.
Mod #6: Live stitches from pockets were put on needles, but before binding off, I knit a few more ridges, making the pockets nice and deep.
