Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
This pattern is actually 3 patterns to cover all abilities - beginner, intermediate and advanced. All 3 patterns are included on the same pdf download, so buy one and you get all 3 patterns.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was dreamt up for a wonderful woman who has always been an amazingly generous friend. She never accepts anything in return save for the occasional bottle of wine (you can see why I like her) or something knitted to add to her wardrobe.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is named after my good friend Murielle (who modelled the ‘snuggle up either way’ snood and mock cable scarf). She gave me her time freely & never asked for anything in return. Now she has moved somewhere, where they have serious winters and I wanted to give her something to say thank you. She loves grey & chunky knits so hope...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a typed up and completed version of the hand written pattern given to me from my grandmother’s patterns and it is entitled ‘Air Force sock pattern’. From conversations with other family members it’s 99.9% certain that this pattern originated in WWII.
Knitting: Cowl
I’m not quite sure of the etymology for snood but suspect it might be a combination of scarf and hood as that’s what it does.
Knitting: Hanging Ornament
After being commissioned by my local coffee shop to knit baubles for their Christmas tree, I was surprised at just how many other requests I got from family and friends for some.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
A versatile, warm and beautiful entrelac wrap/shawl/shrug - I’ve been struggling to find a suitable description for it.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a very simple mock cable scarf and knitted up on 15mm needles, it only takes a couple of evenings for an average knitter (perfect if you’re running out of time for a birthday/Christmas/etc gift).
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Don’t worry too much about the tension - as it’s a blanket a couple of inches here or there won’t make any difference.
