The idea for these fingerless mittens came to me while knitting the “Leftie” shawlette by Martina Behm. I think they suit autumn very well…. keep you warm and remind you of falling leaves.

A very easy and quick knit to use some leftovers from wonderful yarn. You’ll need maximum 40g of sock yarn.

This pattern is very well suited to make something nice from a small amount of yarn, 50g are enough.

I saw once a similar pattern for a neckwarmer made from thicker yarn which had a crocheted picot-edging.

I made those to match the neckwarmer I made for my sister as a present.

It’s such a cute little bag! A perfect quickly knitted gift.

The pattern is similar to a regular sock pattern - just start with an open part (to be able after felting to step in).

The most interesting piece of this bag is the closure: I knitted around a wooden bead and felted this with the bag. This makes a very stable closure.

The cute bag was designed with 2 separate compartments - one for the headset and one for the charger (or the phone itself).

this is so much fun to knit those…. just done with short rows and some sewing at the end prior to felting.

This scarf is knitted sideways - only aout 10 or 12 rows, depending on the yarn you have choosen.

I made one just as a trial….. and than everybody in my family wanted to have one for it’s own. SO I ended up knitting a lot of them and gave them away….
