Knitting: Beret, Tam
This is a slouchy cabled beret that I whipped up after trying to find something similar on Ravelry to no avail. The hat knits up quickly, and the decreases make the cables continue to the end of the hat for cohesive visual repetition. Stays snugly on one’s head, and meant to be worn on the back of the head as a slouchy beret, or it can be worn ...
Knitting: Booties
This pattern includes instructions for making Baby Bear Booties in newborn size, or 9-12 months. Stretchy and comfortable for baby, and sure to be a hit at any baby shower. For a boy or a girl, just switch the ribbon!
Knitting: Bracelet
This is a pattern I’ve wanted to write for awhile, and I finally sat down and figured it out! It’s a rather easy project, good for first-time cable projects, but not too boring for the seasoned knitter. I hope you enjoy it!
Knitting: Lampshade
Knitting: Beret, Tam
Every hat I have ever tried to make for myself has been too small. I wanted one that would stay on my head, be cute, and not be too tight! I have a 22” head measurement, and this hat fits just right. I hope you enjoy it!
Knitting: Booties
This pattern is worked flat and the shaping is done using short rows. An addictive little pattern that has me making Chucks for all my expectant friends!
Crochet: Tote
I have made this bag in several different colors, and it lasts and lasts! Other patterns I tried stretched out over time, and with the tightness of the stitches in this bag, that does not happen. I use these bags for just about anything, they are a great alternative to those store-bought reusable bags, and last much longer!
Crochet: Feet / Legs - Other, Accessories - Other
This is a simple garter you can make to wear at your own wedding.
Knitting: Booties
My mom loved rubber ducks. I thought of her when I was writing this pattern, maybe some day I’ll have a baby who can wear these.
Knitting: Slippers
It’s really hard to photograph one’s own feet. My dog, Chunk, was very intrigued.
Knitting: Beret, Tam, Hats - Other
This slightly slouchy hat is made with self-striping yarn. The increases are well-hidden, and the ribbed band ensures a secure fit. Great for a first-time knit, or a quick-knit gift for seasoned knitters to give.
Crochet: Decorative - Other
Crochet: Coaster
This pattern is for four coasters, mostly crocheted. One of them is knitted in seed stitch.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a standard hat pattern that I use for a lot of gifts. It’s versatile enough to suit a variety of tastes and occasions, and the bulky yarn helps it to be a quick project. I have included instructions for 2 versions: one with a slightly rolled brim, and one with ribbing. I have also included instructions for an optional stripe. It’s a goo...
Knitting: Pet Toys
Chunk sat and watched me knit my last project so patiently, hoping that the little toy monkey was for him. Alas, it is a baby shower gift. He was crushed. He pouted all afternoon, and I couldn’t bear to see him so sad. Thus, I made Chunk a ball. Now he is happy again! What a life that dog has.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This is more of a “recipe” than a pattern, but it works! A good “TV Knit”
Knitting: Accessories - Other
I wrote this pattern so I would have a simple case to keep my cup in my purse, as the cases that come with the cups are rather thin and flimsy.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
If you go up in needle sizes, you can make this hat for older babies.
Crochet: Bedding, Accessory, Pet - Other
This pattern is for a little hammock for your rat. My neighbor brought her pet rat over to visit yesterday, and I was inspired! The finished hammock is approximately 15” on the longest edge, including the loops. It will stretch, and it’s made so that it is crocheted tightly and eventually stretches out a bit. It is my understanding that rats li...
Knitting: Accessory
Gauge is not so important in this pattern, as long is it works for your little furry friend. I have a crochet pattern for a rat hammock, and when my friend’s rat chewed the first one, I decided to try a knitted version, as I am a faster knitter. I hope you like it!
