If you have seen the “Serenity In Life” cowl you will recognize the lace pattern in this shawl. I fell in love with the pattern and wanted to see what else I could design with it. I wanted to keep it simple and a shawl seemed the best thing. I added some garter and another simple lace pattern and the Shawl of Serenity was born. Hope you like it.

Introduction: This sweater was made at the request of my 13 years old niece who loves wolves. She’s been fascinated by wolves her whole life and has written many reports on them for school. One day I was waiting at the Cape Cod Conservatory for one of my nieces and I had a bag of Mountains colors yarn with me that I had just gotten. Lili just loves horses so when she came to me and asked for a horse sweater of course I had to say yes. She helped me pick out the yarns and she chose from the different motifs. Siena saw a zebra on tv and asked for her own. We explained that zebras are wild animals, but I could put one on a sweater for her. So she and I sat down and picked out colors, (blue is her favorite), and then I did a sample with a zebra I had drawn and she went wild. A little updating by making the back a little longer than the front and addin...
