Knitting: Scarf
I wanted a bit of a Victorian inspired scarf. Just plain with a bit of texture and just the right colours.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat was inspired by my leftover yarn bin. I had this gorgeous shade of Malabrigo Rios left over and I loved the way it worked with the gray. Sadly I only had a bit of the gray superwash left. So a colourwork pattern was the answer.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Summer forests and the dappling of light coming through it’s canopy inspired this beautiful, airy and elegant shawl.
Knitting: Headband
I was looking for a good solution to keep my dreadlock babies in check during this summer. I wanted something cute and handmade. I had a clear vision of what it needed to be, but could not find a pattern to work for me, so I came up with my own. ;)
Knitting: Thigh-high
I wanted white socks. Plain white socks to go with everything. Yeah… right… PLAIN. why have plain socks, when you can have lace and cables?
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Super easy and fun sock. Knits up quickly, because you just want to see one more round.
Knitting: Knee-highs
Get ready for warmer temperatures and new skirts with a new set of knee-high socks.
Knitting: Knee-highs
I wanted a vintage looking, easy going sock, with a little bit of colourwork. I wanted a sock, that could easily fit into the log cabins of the 1940’s and 50’s. Something functional, that does the job. I wanted a bit of design to go along with it, but nothing that would overshadow the sleek elegance of a simple ribbed sock. Just easy enough to ...
Knitting: Pullover
This sweater was inspired by several James Bond ski chase scenes. What better than to sit back and watch him save the world? Do it in style with this sweater.
Knitting: Vest
Cute little retro feel vest. The pictures of the vest in three colours show the vest with the optional lower neckline. There is a version with a much higher neckline (pictured in multi-coloured vest) written in the pattern. The lower neckline is written optionally.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Super cute little fingerless mittens. The colourwork make them interesting to knit, the garter stitch ridges give them texture.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
One skein of 220 and one skein of 220 paints will make all three sizes of the hats given.
Knitting: Cowl
Fun and fast knit. The cable pattern keeps it interesting and makes it reversible. The picot edging gives it a nice, finishing edge.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
You will only need a little bit of each of the skeins of yarn (We held the cascade 150 double, through out the project, so you will only get two hats out the 150, but the other two colours you could get three hats out of one skein each colour.)
Knitting: Mittens
For these mittens you won’t need the whole ball of Jewel. A bit over half is enough.
Crochet: Hats - Other
The pattern as written uses three balls of the Lana Grande. It only takes a very little bit of the third ball, if you make a few rounds less in height, it will only take two.
Knitting: Cup / Mug
Great stocking stuffers. Fast knit and a great way to use up little bits of leftover yarns, or that super awesome you only have a few yards of!
Knitting: Scarf
Cute colourwork scarf. If you want to make it for a child (49 inches long) you will only need one skein of the background colour.
Knitting: Cowl
Fun, textured infinity scarf. Super easy, while-watching-TV-knitting. The sateen gives it awesome drape. It is held double throughout to give it a bit of body. This also makes it super squishy!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
To make these socks fit a larger foot, just add repeats before working the heel. You will need more yarn for a larger sock! If you want the sock tighter, just increase less for the toe. The pattern repeat is over 6 stitches, so any number divisible by 6 would work.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Gauge is not incredibly necessary for this project. There iwll be yarn left over, so if your gauge is a bit bigger than mine, it will still work out.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Simple and elegant. Something to wear with jeans as well with a pretty dress. I wanted a little something to go over my shoulders when I sit in air conditioning, or for our summer evenings outside, here in the PNW (not so warm, come 9 pm)
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth, Towel
One skein of Luna paints will make the towel and a matching dishcloth.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
You will need two tubes of size 6 beads for this jacket and a crochet hook small enough to fit through the hole of the beads. There is no way to string the beads on and then knit the pattern. They will HAVE to be put in with a crochet hook!
Knitting: Ankle Sock
The socklettes will fit a woman’s foot for shoe size up to US 8 the socks can easily be made bigger, by knitting a longer section, before starting the heel. You will need more yarn for it though!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The gauge is 16 dc x 9 rows = 3x3 inches, but there was no way to put that in.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero

Crochet: Animal Toy
These little owls are both made with one strand of cascade pima silk and one strand cascade kid seta held together throughout.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
You only need about 3 yards of the red yarn for the hear and you will also have about half the skein of the main colour left over if you use the Highland eco duo.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Gauge is not incredibly important for this project. Make a swatch and find the needle size you like best with the yarn. You will definitely have enough yards to finish the project. There was quite a bit leftover from the skein when I was done.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I made this shawl as a present for my wonderful friend Molly Swan-Sheeran (of celtic swan forge fame, go check out celticswan.com) and a bunch of my friends asked for the pattern, so here it is…
