Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
It occurred to me one day that I didn’t have any rainbow socks. What?! Me?! When Biscotte Yarns Bis-Sock appeared at my local yarn shop, I knew my dire situation would soon be remedied.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A little more than a plain, vanilla sock. The combination of seed stitch and ribbing reminded me of spring planting and held my interest throughout the knitting. I was ready to cast on that second sock immediately! The sample socks are made in wool, but I can see them in a cotton blend too, something bright and cheery to welcome in warmer weath...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Charmer is a rectangular shawl, knit in a lovely wool and silk blend. This is a very flexible pattern. It can be knit horizontally (as I did in these photos) or vertically, if you really hate working on those super long rows. While this pattern is written for worsted weight yarn, it could easily be adapted to another weight with a little swatch...
