Pattern was created using 4T materials and was made to wear over a shirt and leggings.

This pattern uses a little over 1/4 skein for the solid color and a whole skein of the ombre. I only had a few inches left so if you crochet loose you may need more than one skein.

I know there are quite a few patterns out there similar to this one. None had all of the things I was looking for so I came up with my own.

I came up with this square after making several traditional granny square afghans that my husband calls “toe catchers.”

This pattern uses small amounts (4-6 yrds) of 1- different colors and 6-10 yards for the edging. This of course, is just a guesstimation since I was just trying to use up some of my left overs.

My daughter was expecting twins and I couldn’t find an easy pattern that would work for boys and girls. This pattern works for either and buttonhole placement is just a matter of flipping it inside out!
