Knitting: Scarf
This scarf uses my very favorite garter stitch! It also has enough lace to keep the interest going. The pattern starts with a long strip of a 10 row lace pattern that is also garter stitch and easy to memorize. When you reach the end of that, stitches are picked up along the length of the lace. Short rows fill in the center of the scarf! Don’t ...
Knitting: Cowl
This is a thick and chunky cowl that is quick to knit in the round with a simple lace pattern. It can be made with only the knit stitch if you’d like or with very little purling required!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a tight fitting hat because of the stretchy nature of the twisted stitches rib pattern. The knit stitches really pop when you knit through the back loop and give the surface of the fabric a sculptural relief. The size of my hats is based on 3”= 1 pattern repeat. If you need to make a different size hat just add or subtract pattern repea...
Knitting: Cowl
This is another “Leftover Sock Yarn” project! Dig out your #3 -16” circular needle again! Pick leftover yarn from 2 pairs of average size socks and get going! This project is perfect knitting for the car, the beach, vacation, or any place where mindless knitting is required. Also, it’s a great mans’ or ladies’ go to gift.
Knitting: Headband, Beanie, Toque
This is a pattern that includes sizing for a medium toddler, a medium adult(Mom) and a headband for a 15” baby doll.
Knitting: Baby Doll
This pattern is designed for a 15-16” baby doll and uses a sock weight yarn. The pattern uses very little purl stitch and is made in the round from the underarm down. It is a good way to try a yoke sweater with increases made by the backward loop method of increase in the garter stitch.

Knitting: Cowl
The yarn that I used was 1/2 skein of Noro sock yarn on a 16” #3 needle. The gauge is not all that important, use a needle that you feel comfortable with.
