Knitting: Scarf
This scarf uses my very favorite garter stitch! It also has enough lace to keep the interest going. The pattern starts with a long strip of a 10 row lace pattern that is also garter stitch and easy to memorize. When you reach the end of that, stitches are picked up along the length of the lace. Knitting: Cowl
This is a thick and chunky cowl that is quick to knit in the round with a simple lace pattern. It can be made with only the knit stitch if you’d like or with very little purling required!

Knitting: Doll Clothes
This pattern is designed for a 15-16” baby doll and uses a sock weight yarn. The pattern uses very little purl stitch and is made in the round from the underarm down. It is a good way to try a yoke sweater with increases made by the backward loop method of increase in the garter stitch.
