Knitting: Cardigan
This is a simple oversized wrap. There is plenty of space to wear it over a shirt or another sweater. Or even tuck a wee one in with you on your lap. A perfect little something to keep you warm by the fire.
Knitting: Scarf
Color Block is everywhere this year. On sweater’s, poncho’s, and even scarfs. I was inspired by all the colors and all the choices to create a scarf of fall colors. I made it long, but light, so I can double and triple wrap it around my neck.
Knitting: Pullover
I recently found a few of my Nana’s handkerchiefs and wanted to do something special to remember her and our times together. In her memory this sweater design was born. It is a wonderful way to wear those handkerchiefs from years gone by.
Knitting: Pullover
Is it a sweater or a poncho? It is a little of both. It is a pullover sweater with high side slits and a big cozy cowl. Perfect for a cold evening at home with your favorite sweats and even better on a sunny day when it is still cool and you need an extra layer.
Knitting: Cardigan
This sweater has a bit of the Mad Men style to it. It is boxy, with a bracelet sleeve and garter stitch bias edging. Add one big beautiful button for closing and you are set to dress it up or wear it casual.
Knitting: Cowl
A simple broken rib pattern dressed up with one cable. A perfect way to learn to do a cable pattern. The bulky weight yarn makes for a fast knit.
Knitting: Mittens, Fingerless Gloves
A fun, fast, last minute gift. A great way to use up leftover kidsilk haze. The ruffle uses approx 50 yds.
Knitting: Vest
A lightweight long vest, knit in sock yarn. It is knit on a larger needle than called for so open and light. Meant to be that perfect transition between fall and winter.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The shawl is simple to knit using stockinette/reverse stockinette. It is shaped so it sits comfortably on your shoulders. Can be made with buckle closure or increase the length of the buckle bands and create a tie closure.
Knitting: Cowl
Catskill Merino Sheep Farm created this beautiful dipped yarn called half and half. The elongated slip stitch pattern takes the yarn and plays with it creating a fun, fresh, “tie dye” look that is so popular right now.
Knitting: Cowl
The cowl is a simple rib with a little rib change up. Perfect for a beginner or a quick gift.
Knitting: Poncho
Ponchos are everywhere this year. Coffee Run has a beautiful cable along the shoulder line with a wide cowl.
Knitting: Cowl
A blend of small and large cables with just a bit of ribbing creates a soft feminine effect against the striping of the Noro.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I used approx 70 yards of each color. The yarn makes for a very soft yummy hand.
Knitting: Earflap Hat
Little boys hats deserve to be as “cool and styling” as their big brothers. The Noro yarn creates the striping for you. Simple fast knitted hat. Fabulous gift.
