These socks were inspired by the classic candle flame pattern. With the wide purl ribs, the socks are stretchy and stay up. With an even number of repeats, they make sense on the needles and are easy to memorize.

My son asked me to knit him a Pokeball for Christmas. So, I made up this pattern. It’s basically two knitted baby hats sewn together, with a crochet circle as the button. He loves putting a small stuffed animal in it, throwing it across the room, and saying “(Toy name), I choose you!.”
