Knitting: Tee
This cropped sweater would be perfect over a sundress or a swimsuit! It is knit in a T-shirt shape design which begins at a K2, P2 ribbed hem along the front. Stitches are cast on for short sleeves, and the boat neck is cast off and cast back on using a cable cast on. The knitter works up and over the shoulders, casts off the sleeves again, and...
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This Boho styled Jacksonville Tank is knit in two pieces starting at the waist and moving up to the shoulders, and then picking up and knitting the peplum “skirt”. It is a quick knit, and the lacework keeps you engaged as you work through this surprisingly quick project!
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
The Downtown Portland is such a fun project to work up and wear for a night on the town! Knit in beautiful Solstice Falling Stars, it has just the right amount of sparkle.
Knitting: Scarf
I just moved to southern Oregon 2 years ago, and I love it here, but there are a few things I miss about my hometown of Phoenix Arizona. The main thing I long for is a view of another beautiful Arizona sunset. There’s something about the purples, pinks, oranges and blues melding into each other that makes me feel at home. Wouldn’t it be wonderf...
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
The Ashland Tunic is named for the city of Ashland Oregon. It is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy taking in an outdoor play, window shopping, or a unique dining experience. It is famous for its Shakespeare festival, and has no shortage of free-spirits walking around down town! This tunic represents that spirit with its free flowing drape...
Knitting: Decorative - Other
If you’re like me, you get really sick of looking at that store bought felt Christmas tree skirt you bought years ago, and you long to have a hand knitted one instead…BUT, the thought of knitting such a large piece has kept you from taking on the project.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This tank top is worked in the round from the bottom to the bust-line, separated, and worked flat to create the armholes, racerback, and shoulders. Ruffles are then picked up along purl rows and knit in a layered ombre design.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Named for my niece, Olivia, this tank top is a beautiful show stopper for a baby shower, or a lovely top for your special little girl. It is not a quick knit, but you’ll be glad you took the time!
Knitting: Scarf
This infinity scarf is perfect for throwing over a light dress in the fall or spring, or for layering under a jacket in the winter. It is knit in one flat piece & sewn together using the mattress stitch. The lace pattern is easy enough for a lace newbie, but interesting enough for the more experienced knitter as well. Hope to see your versi...
Knitting: Dress
This quick & easy baby dress is knit in the round from the lacework at the hem to the waist band, and then separated and knit flat at the bodice. The bodice is worked from back to front in one continuous piece eliminating the need for sewing up several small pieces.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
I love the look of the patchwork style blanket, but not the hassle of creating and attaching all of those little squares, so I designed this blanket with the least amount of finishing in mind. Each column is knit in a continuous strip, and you can create little bobbins, or attached balls of yarn, to allow you to begin sewing up as soon as you a...
Knitting: Scarf
A fun new (free!) scarf pattern just in time for your holiday knitting! This is a nice wide scarf to keep you warm & cozy this winter. It is knit with fun/ funky Changes yarn that will keep you interested as you go. It is knit in two pieces and connected in the middle with the kitchner stitch to avoid a bulky join, but keeping the ends of t...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This blanket can be knit for a boy or girl. There are many great color options out there for you to choose from. It is a simple enough lace pattern for a knitter new to lacework, but enough to keep the more experienced knitter from falling asleep.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket is quick and easy to knit, and makes a great gift for a baby shower. It’s machine washable, so the lucky mommy will be very happy! Grab 5 contrasting colors, a set of circulars, and let’s get started!
Knitting: Cardigan
This is the New York Cardigan. I call it the New York Cardigan because I knit up the sample for myself while visiting my sister, brother in law, and my new baby niece in New York and New Jersey!
Knitting: Dress
This baby dress pattern is fun and easy! The skirt is constructed in the round, and the top is picked up and knit in one piece. Please let me know if you have any trouble with the pattern. I’d be happy to clarify any instructions and/or answer any questions. I hope you have as much fun creating as I had designing! Happy knitting :)
Knitting: Baby Blanket
I suggest this blanket as a social knitting project. It takes a while, but it is very relaxing and fairly mindless. I did mine with several small projects peppered inbetween. It comes out the perfect size for taking in the stroller or as a snuggly for baby as he or she grows. :)
