Inspired by the flowing dresses worn by the “Aesthetic” models immortalized by the Pre-Raphaelite painters working around 1880-90s & the “tea gowns” popular at the turn of the 20th century this contemporary lace work V-neck cardigan features a box pleat with lace insert in the back and morphing lace patterns on the sleeves.

Reminiscent of a grand-dad cardigan, but updated and offered in a feminine silhouette, this V- neck cardigan features a interesting cabled motif on both the upper back and at the elbows on the sleeves. Along with the columns of twisted rope plus X & O Cables on the fronts it makes for a fun knit making a wardrobe staple.

Our third pattern from Designer in Residence Fiona Ellis, Made to Border, is a cute little cap sleeve cardigan perfect for throwing on over a tank top. The main feature of this design is the border patterning which gradually morphs into gradually diminishing cables. The top is completed with simple edging and a knitted tie closure.
