Knitting: Balaclava
Sapporo winters are cold and snowy, so reliable headwear is a must-have. This cozy hood is easy to wear and keeps the head, ears and neck warm and comfortable in freezing conditions. The fit can be adjusted with a drawstring. Made with aran yarn, this is quite a fast knit, and there’s no seaming or grafting.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a good-looking and well-fitting ribbed beanie with a deep brim and neat crown decreases. It is warm and squishy but not tight. The pattern is easy and relaxing and knits up in no time.

Knitting: Pullover, Tee
This little cap sleeve sweater looks great layered over a dress or a simple top, and the a-line fit is flattering for most body types. The sweater is worked seamlessly top-down: the back and the front are worked separately from the shoulders down to the armholes, then joined for the body to be worked in the round. The cap sleeves are worked sea...

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Hats - Other
This cute triangular headkerchief is a fun and feminine alternative to the ubiquitous beanie. It fits like a hat but works better for voluminous hair and showing off long hairstyles. Fits as a beanie with an extra layer of warmth if the brim is folded up, or as a taller slouchy pointed hat with the brim unfolded. Thanks to the ribbing, this squishy textured hat fits most adults.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat has a deep double brim with a striking stranded heart pattern. It is warm, not constricting and reversible: the right side features stranded colorwork and the wrong side is in main color only.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Earflap Hat
This is a cute and funny grown-up version of the classic baby cap. It is fairly closefitting but not too tight. It will protect you from wind and cold, and it’s fun to knit and wear!

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat strikes a great balance between being stylish, fast and easy to knit and requiring just a little yarn. It is not too snug and not overly slouchy, it will keep your ears warm and your hair looking nice, and it’s light and pocketable. The crown decreases are incorporated into the stitch pattern and form a cute star. All in all, just righ...
