This is a loose fitting, lace pullover with very large eyelet lace. The fringe trim is knit, unraveled to create the fringe, and then sts for each piece are picked up. It’s worked flat and seamed. There are 2 different lace patterns worked here as well as the fringe trim piece. Very casual, a little “hippie” and fun to wear!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is Adkos (a different kind of shawl). What makes it different is that it has 1 back piece and 2 front pieces that are stitched together at the ‘shoulder seam’ which runs from each shoulders down the length of the arm. These pieces are wide enough to cover approximately 3/4 of the arm length. The neckline trim is picked up and kn...
This cardigan is worked flat with set-in sleeves and waist shaping. The collar is attached by picking up sts. If you choose to use a closure method, the closure used is a single large hook and eye positioned at the beginning of neck shaping on the inside of the garment although no closure or other closure methods of your choosing may be used.
This cardigan is worked in the round with raglan sleeves and an over sized hemline to give that ‘swing’ effect. It is also very loose fitting and has lots of gathers, including at the bust line which may not be figure flattering for everyone. The garment pictured here was worked in Habu Bamboo lace, which is fa...
This is a raglan sweater that falls to the high-hip area that is worked in the round. It’s sized to be fitted but not tight. It has waist shaping and flared, oversized cuffs that fall approximately 1/2 way down the hand. The cuffs and hemline are trimmed in a ‘eyelash’ novelty yarn and that same yarn is used to create a super s...
This blouse is oversized to allow for drape and blousing. The neckline, waistline, and cuffs are all adjustable by drawstring to allow for personal fit preference. The cuffs fall approx half way down the hand and have a little flounce to them. The lace trim is knit first and then the sts for the rest of the garment are picked up. The lace patter...
This is a loose fitting pullover with a slightly tapered waist and raglan sleeves. It has a rolled hem detail on the cuffs and bodice and an oversized collar that puddles at the neckline. The pieces are knit seperately and stitched together at the end.
