Knitting: Cowl
The 140 yards needed for this cowl would be out of one color. If you want to use two colors, which is extremely effective, you will need at least 70 yards in each color.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
You can knit most of this hat with a 16” circular needle, then switch to double points for the top.
Knitting: Collar
This lace collar can be knit out of a variety of yarns in addition to silk “hankie.” I did not include a gauge since it can be knit in several gauges. Pick a yarn or hankie and try it! To make the points more noticeable block and pin out each point individually.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a basic sock pattern, and the one I use all the time. It is a good canvas for hand-painted yarn.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Royale Hare Superwash Merino DK yarn is hand-painted and produced in small dye lots. Every skein is going to knit up individually even those within the same dye lot. The pattern is basic allowing the hand-painted yarn to be the star of the show.

Gauge is not really important since you will be felting each glove on your hands. To determine size felt each glove one at a time.
