Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Mistress Tippet is a scarf or shawlette with a garter stitch shawl collar, finished in a simple feather and fan lace. The scarf may be worn with the ends hanging down in front, or with the ends overlapped and secured at the shoulders for a double breasted cowl effect. For a snugger fit, the ends may also be secured at the center back.

A generously sized drop shoulder pullover for girls. Stranded colorwork decorates the hip of this classic crew neck sweater. Option for embroidered embellishment is shown. Knit from the bottom up to the underarms. Front and back worked flat and joined at the shoulders with 3 needle bind off. Sleeves are picked up at armhole and worked to cuff.

My Sunderland wrap is knit in one piece from point to point. Slight assymetrical shaping gives Sunderland a longer wing for easier wrapping. Because it is knit on the bias, Sunderland will softly drape around the neck and shoulders while staying in place.

In addition, the assymetrical shaping covers the chest, which is often exposed to the cold in other cowl patterns.
