Here are nine beautiful patterns for knitted cupcakes. All are original designs by Knitting Revolution. Designed very much with the knitter in mind, they are worked in one piece from the bottom upwards, with one seam and few embellishments to finish. Great for gifts, toys, or your very own knitted tea party!

Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
This giant cupcake in mega chunky yarn makes a cute and cuddly cushion or foot rest. It is worked in one piece from the bottom upwards with one side seam to sew at the end. The bottom has a temporary closure so that you can remove the stuffing for washing or storage if needed.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
Here is a diamond shaped cloth with a lacy edging. The pattern is worked with slip stitches to create a double layered, completely reversible cloth. Knitted corner to corner, there is the option of adding a hanging loop at the end. This cloth can be a practical dishcloth or potholder, or how about a washcloth for your bathroom or guest room.

Here are three more practical and beautiful, reversible cloths. They could be used as dishcloths, table mats, or potholders. Or washcloths for your bathroom or guest room. Each one is reversible, so the pattern appears on both sides of the cloth and there is no wrong side to your work!

This is a circular lace pattern worked in one piece using short rows. Fully reversible – simple garter st and lace effect with yarn overs.

The Shelf Cat Fluffy One is made with a flat bottom so he’s perfect for sitting on your shelf or bedside. He is worked from the bottom upwards, with one centre back seam. Three doublepins are needed for the first few rows.
