Folklore has many stories of little people with many different names - brownies, hobs, hobgoblins, Puck. They keep themselves well hidden and can be helpful or mischievous. These creatures exist in fantasy as diminutive folk, about half the size of a human hence the name Halfling, who generally are cheerful and enjoy their food.

With this pattern you can make yourself an adorable Woolly Monkey in two different ways. Either use a mohair-based yarn to make a lovely furry one, or use ordinary yarn to make a smooth one. When you choose your yarn, try to find one with a bit of texture and perhaps a mix of colours for interest.

These are instructions to make a classic 1970s grey and black Dalek or a bronze and gold new series Dalek. They are quite complicated, using different stitches and some difficult colour changes, so this pattern is recommended for fairly experienced amigurumi crocheters.

This pattern is an update of my ‘fierce but friendly really’ dragon pattern. I’ve made a few minor changes, in particular the wings are stiffer now, and I’ve written it out in a longer form that should be easier to follow. If you still want to use the old version of the pattern you can find it here: http://heavens-hellcat...

This pattern has all the details you need to make a chubby little egg-shaped Gnome; either a boy Gnome with a beard, or a girl Gnome with cute braids. They are only 3.5” tall, fit comfortably in your hand and sit well on a flat surface.

Using the same pattern with a few variations you can make a cute little Rabbit or Lamb, either a boy with a stripy top, or a girl with a sweet flowery dress.

This is my original pattern to crochet yourself an Adorable Monster. You can use mohair-type yarn to make a lovely furry little guy, maybe an Adorable Snow Monster (the smaller, cuter relative of the Abominable Snowman), or a Flaming Adorable Fire Monster. Or use ordinary yarn to make a smooth one, like my Tree Monster and Rainbow Monster, with ...

This is an original pattern of my design to make a shy and adorable little elephant. She wears a sweet frilly dress (part of the pattern, not made separately) and is accessorised with a flower. Flora will be about 5” tall when completed.
