Ever since I first knitted a swatch for the Camilla pullover, I’ve been obsessed with the fan stitch pattern. In Camilla, I worked a single repeat up the center front. But the idea of working the pattern into a blanket was so alluring, I couldn’t resist—a sea of lines moving beautifully and repeatedly inward.

After working on a few designs which all use the lovely stitch pattern Frost Flowers, I decided to break apart the pattern and isolate the stitches that create the pleasurable shape of flower petals. Here, the flowers dance across the yoke in three delightful tiers.
