Knitting: Cowl
I designed this because I couldn’t find anything I liked for huge yarn, 50 yards, and on size 50 needles. I wanted something easy, fun, and not too bulky to wear. I ended up choosing this particular stitch pattern which can feel very bizarre to knit because on size 50 needles, anything else was far too time consuming to do, especially when you ...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
A customer saw a baby blanket like this on Pintrest and fell in love. She wanted this to be the pop of color in her baby’s neutral room. We used Spud and Chloe Sweater doubled, in gender neutral colors.
Knitting: Cowl
Do you need some stress free knitting? Are you a new knitter who wants to knit a cowl you will wear again and again?
Knitting: Cowl
We love Ozark yarn, and quick knitting! We think adding a companion or plain yarn really enhances and softens Ozark Hand Spun.
Knitting: Cowl
We love the feeling of cashmere, but who doesn’t!? This is a great two skein project, and you can use just one sumptuous yarn, or two! Whenever you are striping, or working with two yarns, the entire project will feel like the softer of the two yarns.
Knitting: Cowl
This was a combination of my two favorite stitches from 2012- the dropped stitch, and the Indian Cross stitch. It was a fun little one skein cowl project where you can play around with whatever design you want. I like how this is stretchy and shows off wild yarns (and tones them down a bit even!)
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Do you need to whip up a shawl for a special event? Do you have fancy yarns leftover from other projects? If so, then this is the shawl for you! Natalie made two of them, with leftover yarns from two other shawls that were in the same color family.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a basic recipe on how to make a reversible, two color brioche cowl. This is the traditional knit one below technique.
Knitting: Scarf
We love the hand-spun in Uruguay yarn from Manos, but it seemed a bit scratchy to wear on your neck- so we added 2 strands of a lace-weight mohair to make it really soft. Then, customers started using soft 100% merino but still added the mohair and wow- so soft!
Knitting: Cowl
The quickest, most versatile knit on your list! This one-by-one ribbed cowl is simply that, with a slip stitch edge. You may do a provisional cast on if you like, but we usually do a seam.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The hand spun angora by Exquisitely Angora is just that- exquisite. This was a yarn that we fell in love with, as did our customers; however we didn’t know what to make that would only take one skein. Since this yarn is so fluffy, people didn’t want it as a cowl, and customers really wanted a fast and fun fingerless mitts pattern, so I came up ...
