Knitting: Beanie, Toque
So simple and relaxing to knit and so comfortable to wear!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Imagine the sound of leaves under your feet when walking in an autumn forest - the soft rustling and crispy noise accompanying every step. And at the same time it feels light and airy walking through the fluffy leaves, and you can let your mind wander.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
You’ll be surprised how little time you need to knit this beanie! With big needles and a simple rib it is a nice little project for in-between - or one of these exciting last minute projects when you are preparing for a trip and you realize where you are going it is way colder than you expected.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Sometimes we all need simple projects that are easy to follow and where we can let our mind wander. Where we do not have to keep track of the exact number of stitches all the time.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
HUGO sneaker socks are knitted on a set of DPNs using three needles (+ working needle).
Knitting: Cuffs
The pattern band on the back of BERLIN 2.0 has a pattern band pointing into one direction and looks best when knitted starting from the center in two directions up to the cuff edges, expanding symmetrically to both ends.
Knitting: Scarf
Knitted out of one single skein of Noro’s KAKIGORI, this supersoft shawl is a quick and easy knit.
Knitting: Cowl
BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE is a neck warmer knitted in rounds with small ribbed edges. The main part uses simple moss stitch alternating with a lacy pattern band.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Pure in design and wonderfully warm with its foldable brim! For my PARIS MATCH I used SULKA LEGATO by MIRASOL, a luxurious blend of Merino, Alpaca and Silk - one skein is sufficient to knit the whole hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Sweet and simple, and knitted in no time, COSMOPOLITAN. I used the heavenly soft HERRIOT FINE by Juniper Moon Farm, but any other of your favorite fingering yarns will do perfectly, too!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Do you love to meditate? This is what I love to do…. This oversized scarf gives you the perfect opportunity to meditate a lot while knitting stitch by stitch… lots of simple garter stitches alternating with an easy to knit edge and a bit of lacy pattern in the centre, and there it is, your really great scarf!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
LOTTA socks are worked cuff down on circular needles. The design is a classic sock pattern with an openwork stitch motif added down the front, running over 15sts from rib to tip. The heel is based on the German Short Row heel. I used the Magic Loop technique for LOTTA but it can easily be worked on a set of DPNs.
Knitting: Pullover
ARIEN is an slightly oversized sweater knitted from the bottom up in one piece.
Knitting: Cowl
Lisbeth is a soft & cosy cowl you may wear once or twice wrapped around your neck. It is knitted in the round and blends jacquard and amour knitting elements.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Louise is a big shawl that can be worn in separate ways and is designed to hug you in its generous size. It is knitted flat with two strands held together (one strand of MARINA by Manos del Uruguay and one strand of LATE AUTUMN by Lotus Yarns).
