Sometimes, one comes across a yarn for which no pattern appears to do it justice. This is what happened to me with Sunshine Yarns Merino Worsted in Forks. A beautiful yarn with various shades of greens and browns of a rich, dense forest, such as the forests surrounding the town of Forks, Washington, in the Twilight movie series.

A unisex wrap for cold winter nights. To maximize the ‘cuddle factor’, superwash worsted weight yarn is used with lace and garter stitches throughout.

A U-shaped shawl with delicate lace edging and insertions. The shawl is designed to stay on your shoulders and can be worn as a stole or a scarf. The lace edging and insertions consist of basic lace stitches.

A juxtaposition of yarn and pattern: denim and lace.

A one skein project that is basically a three-in-one pattern; use it as a hat, a cowl, or a scarf.
