This hat might be more than a little bit magic; everyone who wears it seems to instantly find themselves a little luckier, a lot cuter, and ready for any adventure impossibly possible. Completely washable because a fairy’s life gets messy, and holds its shape no matter how big the dreams in her head.

I was inspired by Pia Kaukinen’s beautiful crescent-shaped shawl, Perlata Pitsigootti-huivi. For my design, a top-down stockinette triangle is knitted first, then the lace edging is worked.
