Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is super quick, fun and a real stash-buster. It uses less than fifty yards of yarn and is knit flat using a super-simple lace pattern, which makes it great for beginners. I whipped up the sample in a couple hours.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a very simple lace pattern, so any yarn or needles will work. I used doubled thread-weight mystery cashmere from Mongolia on US5’s, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand. This pattern is only charted, not written out.
