This hat features mock cables, which are done with a combination of increases and decreases. There are two versions of the hat. Version 1 uses closed yarn overs, while Version 2 features open yarn overs.

This is a multi-part tutorial for knitting custom fit socks from the cuff down. A new part will be uploaded approximately weekly from early July 2019 until roughly the end of August.
