This is a beautiful pattern knit with two colours of yarn. There are no long floats and you only work with one colour at a time, similar to mosaic knitting. The colour not currently in use is carried up the back so you don’t have a lot of ends to weave in.

This reversible semicircular double garter shawl is inspired by Van Gogh’s painting - The Sower.

To help me cast on the right number of stitches.

New version is knitted with elann.com Peruvian Baby silk. It takes 4 balls for a scarf, 6 balls for medium size and 8 balls for large stole. The edging on both side using 5 seed stitches instead of 3 garter stitches.

The Valentine Scarf or Shawl is a bottom up, triangular knit with heart motifs and triple eyelets border knitted in one piece.
