Thought I’d write up the cardigan I made for the kid this xmas, since last time I made one of these, I made cryptic comments in the “notes” section on Ravelry about how to shape the collar, but no real explanation. Only one size, because I don’t have the energy to size it up/down.

Inspired by a hat worn by Sally Hawkins in the 2014 movie, Paddington.

Kids need to keep warm and love dressing as their favourite pets, but some of the animal-themed hats available are just “too cute.” Puppyboy is a bit more mellow – mainly monochromatic with details worked in texture.

Kodama are little forest sprites that appear in Miyazaki movies. These can be knit up quickly from scraps of yarn.
