this is a pretty simple blanket that just uses colors inspired from the beach, simple stripes and a variety of stitches for texture. While there is a ‘front’ and ‘back’, I like that the back still looks nice. There is an optional crochet edge around it, but if you have strategies for creating nice edges with striping, you may not need it.

I made up this pattern, then after requests, wrote it up for others. It is easily adapted from the size I used to any size. It is very basic and easy.
