Knitting: Pullover
On a winter holiday in Stockholm where my wife and I were engaged, we took a blustery boat ride in the waters where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. This meeting of salty and fresh waters creates what is called brackish water and it inspired this colorwork pattern that was first published as a hat and is now adapted for this jumper pattern.

Summer evenings in Amsterdam is for bike rides through the congested City Center, the cool nighttime breeze made quicker by the ride. It’s those moments, clad in a short sleeve shirt dress or a three quarter length cardi that I long for just a little extra sleeve on my meandering path home.

The Noordermarkt in Amsterdam is a treasure hunter’s dream. It’s a little market, cuddled up against an old church in the Jordaan neighborhood. It was there, in one of the bustling stands among clothes by the kilo, stacks of old deer skulls, and truly odd trinkets that I found them.
