Knitting: Hot Water Bottle
This pattern is for either of a pair of ‘old school’ hot water bottle covers in honeycomb cables. One is in worsted (pink) and the other in a slightly bulkier (gray) wool. If you use very hot water, and a wool cover, the hot water bottle will stay warm for hours --- all night under the bed covers!

Knitting: Cowl
Throw your heart over the fence and the rest will follow.
Knitting: Cowl
A silly, frilly looking little thing---but with a lot of function. And it holds in a lot of warmth. Call it a snood or a buff, or whatever tickles your fancy. Wear it as a neck warmer, a hat, a headband, or a wimple. Whatever works. It’s all good.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
It started out with a single skein of super bulky yarn that I had been given as a gift from my daughter. It was a beautiful yarn, and needed a special hat to show it off.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap, Scarf

Knitting: Hot Water Bottle
These old fashioned bottles hold their heat for a long time. You can also fill one with 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol, and throw in the freezer. It will not freeze, but makes the best “ice pack” around. If you are unable to get rubbing alcohol, try some peppermint schnapps…but don’t be surprised if your water bottle contents “evaporate” ( j...
