This pattern is the third design in the Nature Series. It is inspired by little blue flowers I found in the grass in my garden. I was curious to know what the plant was and found out that it is a herb called by the common name “Speedwell” and that it is of the Veronica genus. Hence the name of these socks, Veronica Speedwell!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is an eight stitch, eight row repeat all-over lace sock pattern. It is inspired by spring flowers and blossoms on bare branches. It is the second design in my Nature Series.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a very easy sock pattern, designed for knitters who want to knit a sock that does not require a lot of concentration but is still more interesting to knit than plain stockinette. They are inspired by the patterning of bark on a young tree.
Knitting: Cowl
This is an advanced lace beginner level pattern.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap, Scarf
This is an advanced entry level lace scarf, ie., it is an easy pattern, but best attempted by someone who already knows the basics of lace (YO, K2tog, SSK). I have written in plenty of instructional hints.

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless mitts are knit in the round and feature alternate slanting cables for each hand to give the mitts a balanced look. Knit the cuff/arm to the length you want before beginning the thumb gusset.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by the look of latticework fences and decorative enclosures, this cowl features an all-over latticework cable.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This gently crescent-shaped shawl is knitted sideways, from tip to tip all in one piece. It features a garter stitch body (to prevent curling), and a lace edging that is reminiscent of seaweed and waves. The width and depth of the garter stitch body can be easily modified to suit your preference.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
An advanced beginner - intermediate pattern.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern is for a mid-length fingerless glove. It is a tribute to the orange roughy fish and part of the “Sustain the Sea” collection: A series of free patterns released over the next few months and designed to highlight marine sustainability.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The stitch pattern is a very simple lace pattern of alternating K2tog and SSK forming the droplets. Twisted stitch ribbing creates defined “rivulets” between the droplets. The droplets begin as small “beads” at the top of the cuff and turn into longer droplets towards the toes.

These gloves feature cabled hearts travelling up the back of the hand. A smaller cable echoes the hearts over the thumb. The rest of the glove is in stretchy double rib, which allows a reasonable range of hand sizes to fit them.

Pattern comes with instructions for both lengths of cowl. The cowl is knitted in the round, from the bottom up.
Knitting: Mittens
The mittens are knitted in the round, and the final few stitches are grafted together at the top of the hand. The thumb is picked up after and knitted on to the body of the glove. You can also crochet the picot cuff edging and skip this step in the knitting, or use your own favourite method to create the picot edging for the cuff.

Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is knitted in the round, using 6mm needles and 200m of worsted-weight (10 ply) yarn. I used 2 balls of Zealana’s gorgeous Heron (Lichen colourway) for my cowl, and I’d say it is best suited to a light, airy yarn such as this. If you can’t get Zealana, and are looking for an alternative, I think it would also look lovely in a worsted-w...
