My name is Liesl. I’m a knitter, seamstress, natural dyer,  spinner, and designer. Buckaloo View is the name of my family farm in North Western New Jersey. I’m the 5th generation to live here and am in the process of bringing it back to life, to honor my past and build my future. We have a large garden and a small orchard, as well as chickens, cows and goats. Soon we’ll have sheep and other fiber animals.
I’ve been knitting since 2011 and designing patterns since 2015. I often draw inspiration for designs from the yarn itself, as well as everyday life and the natural world around me. My goal and hope is that knitters of my patterns find joy in both the process and the final product.
