Hello and welcome to Spivay Song Knits! Here you will find patterns that I have designed, usually with whimsical, nostalgic or feminine touches.

The name Spivay Song Knits comes from a childhood nickname that my Dido - that is my grandpa - gave me. He would call me Spivay (співай) which means “Sing” in Ukrainian. I have always had a close relationship with my Baba (grandma) and Dido, and anything that reminds me of them fills me with warmth and happiness. Using the name Spivay to publish my designs seemed like a fitting way to honor my grandparents and my Ukrainian heritage - while also truly representing me.
