Please note images show garment size 5 on 104cm chest. Sizes below are suggested based on chest circumference including 5cm/2” positive ease. If an oversized fit if desired for layering the garment, it can be achieved by sizing up 1 or 2 sizes.

Description
The 05 Tie Side Tank is worked flat from the bottom up in a single basketweave stitch.
Firstly, the front is cast on with a long tail cast on method and worked in pattern to roughly 5cm/2” below the armhole. This is repeated to create the back. Both body pieces have ribbed selvedges to create neat edges for the open side detail.
Next, the body pieces are joined to begin working in the round for roughly 5cm/2” to the base of the armhole. Then, the front and back pieces are split again and the armhole shaping begins. The armholes are worked with the ribbed selvedges at each side so there is no need to add a bind at the end.
Finally, four rib ties are worked, the garment is seamed together, and voila! You have completed your 05 Tie Side Tank pattern!

Fingering weight; Knitting for Olive Pure Silk (50g/ 1.8oz, 250m/ 273yds, 100% silk)
3 (4, 4, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7, 8) skeins

Approx. meterage needed 720 (830, 950, 1070, 1195) (1330, 1465, 1605, 1755) m/790 (905, 1040, 1170, 1310) (1450, 1600, 1755, 1920) yds, including enough for gauge swatch.

2.5 mm/ US either 1½ circular needles with varying cable lengths from 40cm -100cm

Recommended needle size can be changed to meet required gauge.

36 sts and 43 rows = 10 cm (4”) square in the Basketweave stitch using 2.5 mm needles/US 1.5 needles.
