A perfect pattern for gifts. With 24 animals to choose from, every item you make will be unique. Choose your favourite animals and any combination of colours.

The pattern includes C2C charts for 24 different animals: badger, bear, cat, cow, dog, elephant, fox, giraffe, koala, lion, llama, monkey, moose, mouse, panda, pig, polar bear, rabbit, sheep, sloth, snake, rabbit, tiger, zebra.

This pattern is created using the corner-to-corner crochet method. I have included an explanation of this method with step-by-step photos in the pattern. Note, this item does not teach you how to crochet, just the C2C method. The crochet stitches needed for this pattern are:

• Chain stitch
• Slip stitch
• Half treble (half double crochet in US)
• Double crochet (single crochet in US)

• Guidance on weights of yarn needed per chart if using aran yarn (a little maths required!)

The blankets shown in the photos were made using aran yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. But depending on how many animals you want to make and the size of blanket you’re aiming for, any weight of yarn can be used. The cushion shown in the photos is made using chunky yarn and a 6mm hook.

Although intended as a corner-to-corner crochet pattern, this chart could also be used for cross stitch or intarsia crochet, although instructions are not included for this.

The patterns for the animals are only in chart form. A written equivalent of each chart is not provided.

You can use any weight of yarn to get the required size but the brands I used for the blankets are:

As guidance the sizes of the blankets (all made using aran yarn) are:
2x2 animals = 75cm x 75cm
3x3 animals = 100cm x 100cm
4x3 animals = 140cm x 105cm
