“The pattern is timeless, and simple without being boring - and it looks complex too, but isn’t.” ….. Kendknitter

With the gift giving season fast approaching, here is an interesting cowl you can make fairly quickly. Make some as gifts and even one for yourself.

The cowl uses the Moebius Cast On developed by the late Cat Bordhi, and has a link to her video tutorial. Knit in the round, the moebius cowl is worked from the center out.

Moebius cowls lay flat without any bulge to contend with. This one features a simple reversible repeat that reminds me of the arrowheads we sometimes found in the area where I grew up. A beaded picot bind off is used, which adds flair to the cowl.

The pattern is both written and charted and printable in black and white as well as color. The size can be easily adjusted by casting on any multiple of 4 stitches.

Just the basic knit and purl stitches are used for the texture making it suitable for advanced beginner but also fun for any knitting level.

Yarn: Any worsted weight with 200-220 yards per skein.
Beads: 56 size 3/0 or Roller or Pony beads for the picot bind off.
