The sweater is worked from the top down. Start from the back shaping with short rows. After the shaping is completed the back is worked until the underarms. Then the stitches are put on hold.
Stitches for the shoulders are picked up along the shaped edge. After, the front pieces are joined at the neckline and worked to the underarms. Underarm onwards, front and back are joined together and worked in one piece.
When the body is complete, stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armhole opening and worked in the round to the cuff. The neckband is then picked up to work in 2x2 ribbing.

This pattern starts with the yoke using charts and brief descriptions, requires understanding chart reading. The body continues the pattern from the yoke without additional charted or written instructions.
Swatch comes with full written instructions and chart, aiding in learning the pattern and chart reading.
Neckband options include welt stitch and a folded neck feature, adding versatility to the design.
