Aubrey Garter Beanie
The Aubrey Beanie is designed to work with a wide range of yarn weights, from Super Bulky through to Sport (from 12 sts to 24 sts per 4in/10 cm).
Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Baby (3-6 m): 14-16”(35-40 cm)
Toddler (1-3 years): 18-20” (42-47 cm)
Child/AdultS: 19-21” (48-53 cm)
Adult M-L: 22-23” (56-60 cm)
Description: This beanie is worked flat, side-to-side, starting with a cast-on of the full height of the hat. It is worked entirely in a garter stitch pattern. The hat’s conical shape is created by knitting 8 identical wedges. Each wedge is formed using German short rows to shape the pointy top of the crown. A slipped stitch at the beginning of every Right Side row creates a neat, finished edge for the brim.
