Looking for a color-work cowl without all the hassle of fair-isle? Mosaic knitting is the answer! This cowl features a simple mosaic motif that takes the struggle out of colorwork. Only one color is worked at a time; simply switch colors every two rows and carry them up the inside of the piece! Slip and knit stitches and watch the design come to life!

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner, Intermediate (requires knowledge of knitting in the round, switching between two colors, slipping stitches and K1tbl).

Materials Needed:

◊ Two contrasting colors worsted weight yarn.
80-85 grams in the main color (MC) and 30-35 grams in the contrasting color (CC).
Example shown in Malabrigo Rios Glitter (MC) and Sunset (CC) colorways.
◊ Needles: US size 6 (4mm), 24 inch (60cm) circulars.
◊ 6 stitch markers (1 in a contrasting color for beginning of round).
◊ Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends.
