Bead it Socks

Bead it Socks

For these cute little socks, bead-like stitches are created round by round, and the knitting is literally made to sparkle and shine by using two contrasting colours.
The sleek design of my Samba heel blends in beautifully, and the „Bead it“ pattern that comes in two variations ensures you can enjoy an easy and relaxed knit with two colours from cuff to toe.

Sizes
6 widths (W), 60/64/68/72/76/80 sts,
For foot length specifications please see size chart in pattern.

Suggested yarn
All sock knitting yarns with a yardage of 360 - 425 m/100 g (393 – 465 yds) will work fine.
For the sample shown on the cover page, size 38/39, width 64 sts, worked with 2.25 mm (US 1) needles, I used some 55 grams in (light) MC and 20 grams in (dark) CC. For the dark version socks worked in the same size, I used 60 grams in (dark) MC and 10 grams in (light) CC.
Please allow for more yarn when knitting bigger sizes and/or widths.

Notions
1 circular knitting needle, cable 80 – 100 cm (32 – 40”) long, 2.25 - 2.5 mm (US 1 - 2) depending on your yarn and knitting tension; or other needles for knitting in the round.
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends,
2 stitch markers,
Row counter (optional)
