This pattern walks you through crocheting a cute beaded snake toy that’s fun and satisfying to hold and wiggle around! It’s completely no-sew and is suitable for beginner crocheters.

The pattern includes two sizes (or thicknesses) of snake, one that’s 6 beads around and one that’s 8 beads around. The body is worked in a simple repeat that allows you to make the snake as long or as short as you like.

You will need:
Pony beads (6mm x 9mm)
2 strands of DK yarn (or similar weight) held together
A 5mm crochet hook
A 3mm crochet hook, or anything else that lets you pull loops through the beads

Materials used
The 6-bead snake as pictured uses approx. 9g of each strand of DK yarn, and 110 pony beads. The 8-bead snake as pictured uses approx. 12g of each strand of DK yarn, and 162 pony beads. You can make them longer or shorter than this if you like, however!
